We hope you’ve heard that our Alliance’s 40th Anniversary Annual Conference is just around the corner, and we’re looking forward to “seeing” you there! We may not be able to celebrate our anniversary in-person this year, but we still want to highlight 40 years of great work as well as a positive outlook for Western Colorado Alliance and our communities moving forward.
With that in mind, we’re holding a sticker contest for our 40th anniversary! Our theme focuses on Brenna Quinlan’s image, “A Way Forward,” based on the idea of thinking forward past COVID-19. What would you like to see for our Alliance, our communities, and the West Slope as we move forward and begin to rebuild our home in a post-pandemic world? The winning artwork will be printed and sent to all annual conference attendees, AND the winner will receive a $50 gift card!

If you have any questions, please send me an email at jeriel@westerncoloradoalliance.org and I’ll be happy to help! In our opinion, we are all artists, and we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Jeriel joined the Western Colorado Alliance staff in February 2017 (back when we were still Western Colorado Congress), but you may remember her as our Canvass Director for the successful Minimum Wage ballot initiative in 2016! In her young career, Jeriel has worked with engaged citizens across Colorado on issues ranging from veterans' affairs, healthcare and women’s rights. Jeriel has called Grand Junction and the Western Slope home for 16 years, and enjoys running, hiking, biking and crafting with her daughter Emma.
