Come take the Soil Tour!

Come take the Soil Tour!

It’s one of the most important aspects of agriculture, but you could write a book filled with what most people don’t know about soil health. Come learn more about this fascinating and essential subject in April, when Western Colorado Alliance will be hosting the Soil Tour!

This is a chance for Alliance members and other interested individuals to learn exactly where their food comes from. See what a local farm is doing to engage in the practice of good soil health — a practice which results in healthier produce, increased yield on small plots, and dramatically reduced reliance on fertilizer. And learn how good soil health also results in cleaner air, since healthy soils collect and capture carbon!

If you have any questions, please send them to me at nick@westerncoloradoalliance.org. We hope you’ll join us for this tour. Thank you for all you do to advance the cause of local foods!
