Join WCC of Mesa County and other supporters of School District 51 to hear speakers on the November 2017 bond measure and mill levy override question, and to learn about Performance Based Learning (PBL), the District’s 21st century learning model. Attending this event will give you the vital facts and figures needed to successfully inform and inspire our community to Vote Yes! for Education in November.
The information night will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Tuesday, August 29 at 6:00 pm.
Representatives from Citizens for School District will provideinformation about the bond/mill levy override, and Scot Bingham, the principal from Broadway Elementary School, will share Broadway’s experiences as a PBL school for the last two years.
Mark your calendars now, and plan to attend this WCC-sponsored event in support of our children’s education and the Grand Valley’s future! For more information, contact Roxanne at roxanne.dennisGJ@gmail.com.
WCC will provide light refreshments, and childcare will be provided in the super kid-friendly downstairs U.U. playroom.
