We’ve got 26 days until Election Day, but only a few days before West Slope voters begin receiving ballots in the mail. We’re encouraging folks to vote early, but recognize that with more than 20 important races and issues on the ballot, it’s going to take some research to feel confident voting down the entire ballot. As a non-profit, Western Colorado Alliance will never endorse one candidate over another, but we can dig into the ballot issues and help our members break down their potential to impact residents living and working in western Colorado. Here’s a look at our ballot issue guide, and for more information on each measure you can visit us at westerncoloradoalliance.org/2020-ballot-issues-guide.

Jeriel joined the Western Colorado Alliance staff in February 2017 (back when we were still Western Colorado Congress), but you may remember her as our Canvass Director for the successful Minimum Wage ballot initiative in 2016! In her young career, Jeriel has worked with engaged citizens across Colorado on issues ranging from veterans' affairs, healthcare and women’s rights. Jeriel has called Grand Junction and the Western Slope home for 16 years, and enjoys running, hiking, biking and crafting with her daughter Emma.
