Western Colorado Alliance is thrilled to announce our upcoming event: “CSA 101 — for Producers!”
Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) is one of the best returns on investment for growers and a great way to get local consumers connected to the freshest foods available.
On March 16, from 5:30 to 7 pm, Dawn Trujillo of Green Junction Farmstead will be hosting this deep dive into the importance and benefits of the CSA model. Over three years, Dawn has grown her CSA membership from 17 to over 100. The money earned from CSA goes right into a grower’s pocket!
Join the event to learn much more about the CSA model, how to incorporate it into your operation, and the success it brings to independent, local producers. We’ll conclude with a short discussion on how Western Colorado Alliance is looking to support local foods. If you are a grower or an interested consumer, we want to host you at this event. Sign up today! This event is limited to a maximum of 25 attendees, and people will be registered on a first-come, first-serve basis, with preference to growers. We look forward to seeing you there!
