SEEKING Gift Baskets for Mountainfilm
Our showing of Mountainfilm on Tour in Grand Junction on September 29th at the Avalon Theater will once again feature door prizes and an auction. WCC of Mesa County is partnering with WCC, and we’re asking for your help in making it a success! We invite you to think creatively about what you could donate as a Gift Basket of fun items, Ideas are;
- Gift cards/certificates for services or activities
- Themed gift baskets (always a popular item), including holiday-themed baskets
- Sporting or outdoor gear basket
- Tickets for upcoming events (night out of town)
- Home and garden accessories
- Pet items
- Weekend getaways (lodging, frequent meals or both!)
- Health and salon, including massages or other bodywork
- Original works of art or handicrafts
Donations are tax deductible and will be recognized in the event program, with the item on display at the event and on social media. After working for our Alliance for 32 years, Brenda retired in 2018 and took a two-year hiatus before rejoining the fold as a board member. She is a treasure trove of little known facts about the organization after managing everything from the membership database to our communications. Her other interests include dabbling in a number of artforms, hiking, botany (her college major), t'ai chi and chi gung, and swing dancing. With roots in western Washington state, she has lived in Montrose with her husband Kevin since 1984.
