Can we count you in to help us turn out Amendment 70 supporters?
We’re six days out from Election Day, and victory is in sight for Amendment 70,which will raise Colorado’s minimum wage to $12 per hour by 2020.
But we can’t let up on the gas now! Please help us turn out the vote by signing up for one or more canvassing shifts.
Western Colorado Congress is the only group in our region actively working to pass Amendment 70. As of today we’re halfway to our goal of reaching 6,800 Western Slope voters – can we count on you to help us reach the other half?
We’re talking to voters who support Amendment 70 from now until Election Day – reminding them to turn in their ballots – and we need your help. Study after study has shown that the most effective way to turn out voters is with meaningful face-to-face conversations urging them to vote.
You can make a big difference for working people across the state with even a single 2-3 hour shift. It’s an amazing short course in democracy in action!
We have canvass shifts scheduled this coming weekend in Grand Junction, Montrose and Hotchkiss – click here to sign up for a shift today!

In her young career, Jeriel has worked with engaged citizens across Colorado on issues ranging from veterans' affairs, healthcare and women’s rights. Jeriel has called Grand Junction and the Western Slope home for 16 years, and enjoys running, hiking, biking and crafting with her daughter Emma.
