The formal hearing on the Piñon Ridge Uranium mill application is happening NOW in Nucla, Colorado! Judge Richard Dana needs to hear your concerns on this proposal to build a new uranium mill in a region that still suffers economically, environmentally and health-wise from the radioactive waste left after the last uranium bust 35 years ago.
There are two ways for you to comment: (AND PLEASE FORWARD TO YOUR FRIENDS!)
SEND AN EMAIL: If you are unable to attend the public comment sessions in person, please send Judge Dana an e-mail (click here) before November 12 to show him that Coloradans are still concerned about the negative impacts the uranium industry left in our area and ask him to deny the mill application or impose strong safety and financial security requirements. Additional talking points about the proposal are here.
